Weekly Workflow: Connecting Data Sources in Power BI

Weekly Workflow: Connecting Data Sources in Power BI

It can be challenging to keep track of imported objects in Revit, especially when teams are combining model elements from a variety of different applications. When teams are equipped to keep track of where the imported elements were originally modeled, it can help to streamline design changes and QA/QC process.

LunchBox’s ‘join with tolerance’ component makes it easier to resolve naked edges among a collection of complex surfaces. Great opportunity to make watertight models easier to achieve for analysis and 3D printing! This video shows the LunchBox Brep face adjacency analysis being put to work on a floor of a healthcare space plan. The component data can also be formatted to export a complete matrix to Excel - might be a useful vector table for ML! More space plan noodling with LunchBoxML - this predictive pipeline gives designers the ability to curate their own plan data, select training algorithms, and develop predictive models that can be validated at every step.
