This year marks 5 years in business for Proving Ground. As a consulting services company, we have worked with businesses and project teams to create custom tools for solving some of the most challenging workflow problems.
Central to many of these solutions has been our Conveyor tools. Conveyor is a geometry and data management plugin for user-friendly compatibility between Rhino® and Revit® software applications. Conveyor enables you to translate and update your Rhino geometry into BIM elements without the need for complicated workflows or advanced interfaces.
Today, I am pleased to announce that Proving Ground is launching Conveyor as our first official licensed product!
Conveyor has been deployed in some of the building industry’s leading design organizations including Perkins+Will, CallisonRTKL, Populous, LMN, Woods Bagot, HDR, and Studio Gang. The tools have impacted the design processes of landmark projects by saving countless workflow hours. These projects include the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, Las Vegas Raiders NFL Stadium, and the Gilder Center for Science, Education, and Innovation.
We are now offering early-bird pricing for Conveyor. The product includes plugins for multiple versions of Revit, Rhino 6, and Grasshopper. Conveyor also includes our Rhino Semantic plugin for creating and assigning custom properties inside of Rhino!

Conveyor also includes Semantic – a Rhino addin that is designed to support object property creation and data assignment to create data-rich geometry. Designers can create live reports and calculations to support early-stage planning, cost estimation, and building element classification directly in Rhino. Semantic also includes Grasshopper components to support advanced parametric data management and visualization.
We hope Conveyor will allow more design and construction professionals take advantage of streamlined workflows. We have seen these workflows save countless project hours and help project teams work with greater flexibility to realize their designs.
