The latest version of LunchBox includes a “Sort Adjacent Brep Faces” component which can be used to quickly create customized analysis diagrams. The component works with 2D and 3D Brep geometry, opening up potential use cases to include 3D manufacturing or assembly diagrams.
Labeling spaces can be a tedious process, but Machine Learning tools have the potential to give designers reprieve from manually typing in each space name. Classifier algorithms are able to reference training data and group lists of new elements into classes based on their characteristics and similarities to the data on which it was trained.
LunchBox's "Flatness Check" tool can analyze a series of panels and their deviations from a flat plane. The component is straightforward to use, requiring the user to input a list of panels. It returns a list of flattened panel geometry, a list of planes, and a list of numerical deviations from the original geometry.
